He was a twin.He had lived in Plainview and Norfolk, Nebraska; Miami, Florida; andChat tanooga, Tennessee; before moving to Fremont, Nebraska, in 1931. Heworked with the Army Corps of Engineers during World War II. He and histwin brother, Ray, operated the Kaiser Auto Agency in Fremon t until1954. They ran Bowers Motor Supply until he retired in 1981. He beganplaying the saxophone at 7 years of age. He played in orchestra s formany years with his brother. They were known as "The Saxophone Twi ns."He was a member of Fremont Elks Club, Fremont Faternal Order of Eagles,F remont Kawanis Club and Fremont Rod & Gun Club.
